YSJ feedback Introduction to PNF 29 June 2015 (York St John University)

“Yorkshire ACPIN recently ran the One Day Introduction to PNF workshop, led by Pam Bagot. It was extremely successful and Pam was an excellent trainer. She explained the theory and techniques effectively and gave great feedback on participants handling skills and delivery of the patterns. The feedback from the attendees was very positive, with all participants stating that they would recommend this course to their colleagues. We will seek to run this course again as it was incredibly popular. ”  Vicky Makin (ACPIN committee)

” As a paediatric physiotherapist I feel it is extremely important to have a large number of techniques to use with my clients. I feel this ensures I constantly question my assessments and treatment approaches. I attended the PNF course Pam ran and was extremely impressed by the quality of training. Pam ensured all participants were comfortable to ask questions and clarify points which came up. The course had a good mix of theory to practice which enabled us all to feel the technique as a therapist and client! and the course booklet is very comprehensive.

My only concern was whether I would remember the techniques but Pam has covered this by the excellent follow up videos and prompts via her web site. I have continued to use the techniques and have had positive outcomes with my clients and am hoping to attend follow up courses.”  Sarah Hilton-Bailey

“I found Pam’s PNF course really practical and applicable to my job. I liked being able to ask patient specific questions, and get answers! A really useful course for every Physiotherapist.

The follow up packages (video’s and tips) that come with Pam’s course act as excellent refreshers. I feel guilty if i don’t try them out.”   Helene Whitaker  (MSK physiotherapist)

Peer Review Testimonials

“I have a private practice and have been a practising Paediatric physiotherapist for over 20 years.   I wanted to ensure I was keeping my records to a high standard, my clinical reasoning, reflective practice and learning goal were being achieved. This is paramount for CPD development but also personally I wanted to have confirmation I was working to a high professional level.

Part of this review of my service,  I needed a physiotherapist I respected who had excellent assessing and treating skills, who has current CPD and management skills and someone I knew I could express concerns and frustrations to, who would then give me support and advise in a non biased way.

Pam fitted all of these requirements!

By the end of the day Pam had provided me with added confidence I was performing a high level, she gave me invaluable advice regarding CPD recording and advised on added methods to record to help reflect on my practice. Together with all of this she advised on added treatment methods which I am using and will develop. I would highly recommend Pam’s skills and you definitely will come away feeling enthused, excited and in the knowledge you will be working a a higher professional level. ”    Sarah Hilton-Bailey, Paediatric Physiotherapist

    • “I noticed my son never had very good balance and used to fall over a lot. I saw GP and local CDC who assured me nothing wrong. But I knew his balance and gait wasn’t quite right.

    • “Pam assisted in treating my 8 year old daughter who has a weakness in her left side due to a stroke when she was 18 months old.

My daughter was struggling to ride her bike as her left foot kept coming off the pedals and her left  grip wasn’t strong enough to hold the bike straight. After an initial assessment with Pam and then a number of exercises performed and then followed up at home with an exercise plan,
